I’ve had the opportunity to have my salon company on Clearwater Beach for over 25 years now. In that time our company has grown and expanded locations three times.
We’ve built long standing relationships with many of our guests. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful local clientele, and also have the opportunity to meet people from around the world daily, that are vacationing here. I have to say, the creativity is what drew me to this industry, however, the people are what have kept me. While I enjoyed many years of being a service provider in this industry, my time is now spent on managing the salon, and growing our team members. We strive to keep our service standards high, have committed to investing in continuing education for our team, and along with this, created a non competitive team based environment.
I believe this is what sets our company apart from most. I am proud of our salon team, I’m continually impressed with their creative and technical abilities, their dedication to continuing education, and most of all, the passion they have, for what they do. It is great to be a part of!

With over 25 years in the beauty industry and as the owner of Sharmaines for the same duration, I am dedicated to creating an exceptional guest experience in our salon. My expertise lies in hair color techniques such as Balayage and Ombre, with a specialization in corrective coloring, lived in blonding, and hair extensions. I am passionate about developing custom hair plans for each guest and sharing my knowledge with new stylists.
Our salon’s unique culture thrives on creativity and collaboration, fostering a non-competitive and talented environment. As lead educator for our hair team, I ensure high standards and consistently focus on delivering value to our guests. As a Redken Certified Designer, Colorist, and Artist, I am committed to continuous learning and teaching, to enhance my skills and support the growth of others. My experience includes working with New York Fashion Week artists and Tearsheets artistic teams, attending advanced training at the Redken Exchange in NYC, and the L’Oréal Academy in London. I am also certified in advanced Japanese straightening, Brazilian Blowout, keratin treatments, and multiple hair extension methods, including Hand-Tied, and K-tips for Bellami, Silx Global, Babe, and Harper Ellis Hair Co. I have always enjoyed all aspects of art and creativity throughout my life. The current trends of balayage, ombré, and color melting bring it all back to home as this is a more organic, expressive, and wearable work of art. For this reason, transforming faces with makeup has also been one of my passions.
By the same token cutting is also a love I have as I see it as subtractive art. I love the challenge of taking what is given to me and making your dream a reality! As an artist it will always be a passion of mine to work with various mediums to create an aesthetically pleasing outcome. Throughout the years I have played a role on bridal teams, offering a personalized service to women on their special day.The creativity it takes to provide styling services reminds me of sculpture.
