I’ve had the opportunity to have my salon company on Clearwater Beach for over 25 years now. In that time our company has grown and expanded locations three times. We’ve built long standing relationships with many of our guests. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful local clientele, and also have the opportunity to meet people from around the world daily, that are vacationing here. I have to say, the creativity is what drew me to this industry, however, the people are what have kept me. While I enjoyed many years of being a service provider in this industry, my time is now spent on managing the salon, and growing our team members. We strive to keep our service standards high, have committed to investing in continuing education for our team, and along with this, created a non competitive team based environment. I believe this is what sets our company apart from most. I am proud of our salon team, I’m continually impressed with their creative and technical abilities, their dedication to continuing education, and most of all, the passion they have, for what they do. It is great to be a part of!I have been in the industry for over 25 years and owner of Sharmaines for over 15 years. Creating a wonderful guest experience in our amazing salon is my focus. I love doing hair color with Balayage techniques, Ombre, and specialize in corrective coloring. Complete hair make overs, and updated cuts are my favorite! My passion is making people feel great, and giving each guest a custom-made hair plan as a part of my service. I love the unique culture we have created with our salon team since we creatively feed off each other and enjoy a non-competitive salon environment. As the lead educator for our styling team, education is also a huge passion. I am a Redken Certified Designer & Colorist, with unending desire to always be learning. I also became a national Redken Artist and am more able to help train our staff,and pass along what I’ve learned to others as well as stay up to date on the industry. Recently I completed my training as a Tearsheets artist as an editorial, magazine, and photography specialist and worked at 2018 New York Fashion week representing Tearsheets and Redken. I have attended advanced training at the Redken Exchange in NYC, L’Oréal Academy in NYC, & London with Toni & Guy. I am certified in advanced Japanese straightening, Brazilian Keratin treatments, and Babe Hair Extensions.After being in the beauty industry for 17 years now and a stylist for 7, I’ve been so fortunate to have had many opportunities to grow in this industry by being apart of Sharmaine’s team. I love that here at our salon we are always continuing our education and working as a whole team. I have a passion myself to learn and teach others as I am now apart of Summit consulting program traveling to help other salons reach their fullest potential. As a Redken Specialist and Redken Color Authority, I love creating beautiful color looks and men’s styling.I’ve been a stylist now for 13 years, and grow more passionate about my career everyday! I specialize in blondes, creating beautiful special occasion styles, & advanced straightening services, all while maintaining healthy hair! I love our salon team, and I have the privilege of being one of the educators here. I am a Redken Master Specialist, I have attended advanced Color & Design classes at the Redken Exchange in NYC, Redken Symposium in Las Vegas, and the Loreal Academy in NYC & Mix Masters. Session Skills & Photo was an amazing experience, a 3 day program, with Noah Hatton, international artist, in NYC. This class allowed me to work hands on, with one of the best artists known for his commercial print work, & helped me to build my own portfolio.I've been in this industry for the past 29 years and can honestly say that I love all aspects of hairdressing. While I do have a passion for creating beautiful special occasion styles and enjoy performing advanced straightening services, I absolutely love doing beautiful hair color and haircuts for my guests. I'm a Redken Certified Colorist, a certified specialist in Japanese and BKT straightening services and also specialize in Babe tape in hair extensions. I have attended advanced color and design education at the Redken Exchange in NYC, Redken Symposium in Las Vegas, L'oréal Academy in NYC and Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, CA. I have worked backstage with Patrick Cameron, an International artist creating upstyles at the Premiere Beauty Show in Orlando, FL., as well as doing makeup on the models of the Cobella International Artistic team in San Francisco, CA. I love my team members and the fact that continuing education is part of our philosophy, which is why we all continually grow.
I'm a Redken Certified Colorist and have been in the industry over 10 years and I love being able to create something different every day! I enjoy the smile on my guest’s face after a beautiful transformation. I specialize in blondes, and dimensional color, as well as permanent hair straightening services such as Japanese Hair Straightening and Brazilian Keratin Treatments and blowouts. I am a Redken Master Stylist and have attended advanced trainings at the Redken Exchange in NYC, as well as Redken Symposiums in Las Vegas.
I am a lover of everything hair and makeup. I love a challenge and love to focus my passion on doing beautiful blondes and brunettes. Highlighting, Balayage and color corrections are some of my favorite services to dive my hands into. I also have been doing makeup for 2 years and I love making people feel and look beautiful. I've been a Master stylist and Master barber for over 25 years. My extensive training includes classes at the Redken Exchange in NYC as well as a variety of other specialized hair color, hair cutting, and hair extension training. My advanced training and experience has helped me become a leader in the industry for other stylists as well as help my guests feel comfortable with changing their hair to stay current with the trends. I enjoy helping people find the correct custom color for them! I believe that all of my guests should have a custom hair plan and receive the highest standards of service and quality possible.I am a licensed full specialist. I am certified CND nail technician, as well as certified PCA skincare specialist, and have attended advanced training through Foot Logics. I also adore make up, and air brush techniques are my specialty! I enjoy skin care, nails and waxing, and the difference I can make in how a person feels!I’m an experienced expert in Microblading and permanent makeup. As I was perfecting my micro blading sand permanent make up skills while going to college, I discovered it was my true passion in life and became my calling. Creating beautiful new brows, lips, and hairlines come naturally to me. I recently embarked on a new path of teaching others these skills as well. I am here for when you are ready to have a great experience with truly amazing results.
I have been a part of this company in multiple departments over the last 4 years. I enjoy helping guests, bridal parties and have extensive knowledge of our retail lines. As a true ambassador of our company I greet and help our guests as the front desk team and support staff, but I also spend time at local schools looking for new talent for our company. I truly enjoy helping every guest have a great experience at Sharmaines from beginning to end.
